Ayurveda for Longevity

A 12‑Month In‑Person Immersion for Women in Midlife

10 x workshops over a 12 month period held in our mountain home

An Invitation

This is an invitation to do something quietly radical.

To place your health and wellbeing at the centre of your life, not at the edges.

This 12‑month in‑person immersion is designed for pre‑menopausal, peri‑menopausal, and post‑menopausal women who are ready to stop negotiating with their health and begin living from a foundation that truly supports longevity, vitality, and inner steadiness.

Ayurveda does not see ageing as decline. It sees ageing as a transition of intelligence.

And like any meaningful transition, it requires time, rhythm, guidance, and community.

A Year‑Long Immersion (Beginning March 28th )

This offering has evolved from a series of workshops into a deep 12‑month immersion, beginning in March, with a pause during winter and then resuming in spring until March of 2027 to allow integration, rest, and assimilation.

We meet regularly across the year, allowing the teachings to move through three essential phases:

  • Information — understanding the principles

  • Digestion — applying them in real life

  • Integration — embodying them as a way of living

This is not fast learning. It is true learning.

Why In Person — and Why Over Time

Learning Ayurveda is like learning a new language.

It cannot be absorbed in a weekend or squeezed in between everything else.

Small, in‑person gatherings allow for: – nervous system safety – real conversation and personalised guidance – embodied learning rather than theory – shared wisdom between women – trust and continuity over time

Across the year, this work becomes a container for your life, rather than something you attempt to fit into an already full schedule.

Self‑Care Is Not Optional — It Is Foundational

This immersion rests on a simple but often forgotten truth:

Self‑care is not something we squeeze in when everything else is done.

Because everything else is never done.

Instead, Ayurveda teaches us that self‑care becomes the container for our lives — the structure that allows everything else to function.

In 2026, your wellbeing leads.

It is not something you negotiate on, postpone, or earn. It is the ground from which your work, relationships, creativity, and vitality arise.

This immersion supports you to build that foundation — gently, realistically, and sustainably.

The Immersion Journey

Over the year, we explore the following interconnected themes:

  • Defining Health through Ayurveda & People’s Medicine

Understanding what health truly is — not as symptom management, but as resilience, adaptability, vitality, and clarity. From the moment we are born, Ayurveda sees our life as a journey guided by rhythm, balance, and the intelligent unfolding of nature. The science of Ayurveda teaches us how to preserve our Ojas (vitality), protect our Agni (digestive fire), nourish our Dhatus (tissues), and align with the seasons and stages of life so that we not only delay disease but live with grace. This is longevity, the Ayurvedic way. In order to understand how to support our longevity, Ayurveda provides a roadmap to navigate and guide your rhythm

  • Living a conscious life• Embodying a Personal Practice

Integrating Ayurvedic Daily Practices for your body mind, spirit into a sustainable daily rhythm that is realistic, nourishing, and uniquely yours.Lifestyle practices are a daily routines, that are preventative in nature and establish healthful habits by consciously connecting the body to the natural cycles of the day. These routines are adjusted seasonally in response to climactic changes. When imbalances cannot be corrected by Food or Lifestyle, we turn to medicine, which treats disease. In order to transform our health and vitality….we commit to lifestyle medicine, which entails regular practices repeated over our lifetime.

  • The Ayurvedic Model of Health & the Doshas and Spirituality

Learning your constitution, how it shifts through midlife, and how to work with your nature rather than against it.Health care is person entered and focused on prevention

  • Digestion, Agni & Gut Health

Ayurveda understands that Digestion is the Master System of the body. This class takes a deep exploration of digestion, the gut microbiome, metabolic health, immunity and how gut health underpins hormones, mood, and longevity.

  • Seasonal Cleanse & Reset

A guided, gentle cleanse designed to restore digestive strength, clarity, and energy — without extremes or depletion.

  • Building Healthy Skin & Blood (Rasa & Rakta)

Supporting radiant skin, cardiovascular health, blood sugar regulation, and long‑term nourishment.

  • Building Healthy Muscle & Bone Health

Eating and moving in ways that builds strength, protects bone density, and supports independence as we age.

  • Hormone Health in Midlife

Understanding hormonal transitions through a calm, intelligent, non‑fear‑based lens. Ayurveda recognises mid life as a powerful energetic and physiological shift — Hormonal changes influence digestion, energy, sleep, emotions, and spiritual awareness. During this stage of life a woman is moving from from Pitta to Vata stage of life: This reflects a change in Energetic Dominance.

  • Nervous System Regulation

Learning how rhythm, rest, breath, daily practices, and lifestyle choices stabilise the nervous system and slow ageing. Understand the link between stress, digestion, sleep, and hormones. Learn how Ayurveda describes the nervous system (Prana Vata) and how modern science mirrors it through the vagus nerve. Discover daily rituals, breath practices, and mindset shifts that rebuild resilience. Learn to identify your personal stress signatures (Vata, Pitta, Kapha).

  • Mental Health, Ageing Myths & Attention as Medicine

Reclaiming clarity, meaning, and sovereignty — and understanding attention as one of our most precious resources.

Who This Immersion Is For

This journey is for you if: – you are tired of negotiating with your health – you want depth rather than quick fixes – you value continuity, mentorship, and community – you wish to age with strength, softness, and self‑trust – you are ready to let wellbeing lead

You know that your self-care is not optional—it’s foundational. Its not something to be squeezed in when everything else is done, because it never is. Self care becomes the container for our lives.

You know that midlife no longer tells the full story. For women, especially in the mid 50’s, our bodies are still changing, still recalibrating, still responding to hormonal shifts—and yet we’re often spoken to as if we’re winding down. That narrative no longer serves us. We are not done. We are becoming.

The Setting

Our mountain home provides a quiet, grounded environment that naturally supports nervous system regulation, reflection, and connection.

Numbers are intentionally kept small to 6-8 participants preserve intimacy, depth and to build community.
