The Key to Good Health lies in Good Digestion

I believe that health begins in the kitchen…because that’s where the medicine is! I am passionate about the power of food to transform your health and heal chronic and diet-driven diseases. As your guide, I have over 25 years of experience studying, working and teaching about food and plant medicines. My hope is that sharing this knowledge will inspire you to take charge when it comes to your health.

You will discover the central role that digestion, gut health and food play in the continued creation of your health and how, sadly, modern food production is taking us in the direction of diet-driven chronic disease.

DIGESTIVE HEALTH is a six session series of in person and online meetings over 6 weeks. I have designed this program to work with your unique needs and requirements.

In Ayurveda, the digestive tract is considered the Master System of the body. The food we eat nourishes our physical body and influences the quality of your thoughts, emotions and mental tendencies.

Faulty digestion is seen as the precursor to metabolic diseases. Mild to chronic digestive symptoms over long periods of time alter how your digestion functions. Faulty digestion leaves behind partially digested food, which begin to slow down, clog, and impair the function of your GI tract. This undigested food become Metabolic Toxins.

Over time, these toxins spread to the tissues and organs, eventually affecting their functioning. As a result, your health span decreases and vitality declines.

The solution….. Fix digestion and you treat the root cause of disease. The foundation of Good Health practices is to eat a diet that supports your life. This is the first and most basic building block of good health and the most effective way to treat disease.

During the six weeks, you will be introduced to Ayurvedic principals as they relate to you along with specific guidelines for diet, herbs and lifestyle practices. The program is wholistic because a food program is not just about food.It’s about all aspects of your life. This means you have to make space in your life for self-care.

At the end of these meetings you will feel confident and have access to way of eating that supports and up levels your your health and reverses diet driven chronic conditions

Our sessions:

1. Intake: 120 mins
At our first meeting, I will will lead you through a number of questions regarding your current routine… what you’re eating, how you’re sleeping and your health history to create a big picture of who you are! I will take a look at your body shape, your tongue, hands, nails and face to better understand you. I will also feel your pulse to understand what’s happening on a subtle level. I will ask questions about your current condition, including the state of your Agni (digestion), Ama (accumulated toxins), Ojas (Immunity) and Manas (Mind).

2. Visit 2 Your Ayurvedic Profile: 90-120 mins
In our second meeting, I will present you with your curated Ayurvedic Profile. Here, you will learn the basics of ‘Ayurvedic Lifestyle Medicine’. I will explain my observations and present you with a week by week plan of treatment, including initial recommendations and long-term goals to support you. You will receive your Five-week, customised Diet and Lifestyle plan with in-depth support to properly prepare your life and kitchen.

The beauty of Ayurveda is the individualised care that each person gets.
I will provide you with clear instructions on ways to optimise your state of being and what improvements you can expect from these dietary and lifestyle modifications.

3. Visit 3-6 Coaching 60- 90 mins per session
Our third to sixth meetings include in-depth coaching education and application of your personalised diet, lifestyle, herbs and daily practices. I will guide you as you make the necessary readjustments to your new way of eating. As you continue to apply these principals in to your life, our meetings allow for any fine tuning and new material based on your unique needs and experiences.
