Why Cleanse 

All natural healing systems share the practice of “cleansing, purifying, detoxifying or purging” the body from the build up of emotional, metabolic and environmental toxins.

Ayurveda being a nature based system of medicine, follows seasonal cycles. There are seasons to build and seasons to reduce.

Spring and Autumn are traditionally the best times to cleanse.
Ayurvedic cleanses are designed to foster balance for the doshas.
When the doshas express balance( the middle path) we express health and vitality.

There is logic and beauty in changing our diets at the turn of each season. Cleansing is part of “Peoples Medicine”, which is at the heart of Ayurveda. This is a system…that is meant to be practiced by people…that would be me and you. In order to keep the body functioning well, we undergo 2x per year detoxification.

Ayurveda says that food is first medicine. When our diet is fresh, clean, medicinal in nature, the body heals. Cleansing redirects our health, its a reset. For 21 days, we let go of our normal food crutches, cravings and lifestyle practices that don’t support our health and wellbeing.

All foods and daily practices are paired back to their essentials.

Simple guidelines are given to assist you on the path. Foods and herbal supplements are plant based and seasonal during the 3 week program. Lifestyle practices deepen your experience as you move beyond the boundaries of food. Herbs to aid digestion and metabolism, both rev up and remove built metabolic toxins in your gut.
